Last Mile Logistics System Project Manager


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; Transportation and/or Supply Chain experience required
  • Three to five years of experience in Transportation and Logistics required
  • Five to seven years of experience in project management required; must demonstrate success in deployment of systems/processes
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all organizational levels
  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment
  • Team player with ability to work with cross-functional, cross cultural teams, and all levels of management with skills of motivation, organization and leadership
  • Proficient computer skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 90%

Role Purpose Statement: Incumbent will collaborate with managers of the targeted projects to develop cohesive project plans & timelines, budget plans, and risk mitigation strategies for the LSG Sky Chefs Transportation Management System (TMS). Ensure project plans and finished products are appropriate business solutions.

Key Interfaces: (internal, external) Internal: Customer Service Centers (CSC), ARH Departments External: Software Vendor

Main Accountabilities

Project Management

  • Implement the LSG Sky Chefs transportation management system
  • Strategic driver of local engagement and change management
  • Lead all aspects of the TMS implementation including requirement definitions, testing, implementation, post implementation support and end user training
  • Steer project planning, resources, budget, cost tracking, risk analysis, scope management, reporting and business requirements analysis
  • Oversee cross-functional teams with the responsibility to set and meet deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with Global, Corporate, and Regional Project Guidelines & Standards
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making utilizing lean principles and methodologies.
  • Exhibit knowledge of transportation logistics and systems


  • Model corporate values and participate as required in groups, initiatives, and advisory bodies
  • Proactively support other departments and functions as the Subject Matter Expert
