Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Two to five years of recruitment experience with exposure to basic HR functions
  • Working knowledge of all functional areas within Human Resources
  • Demonstrated skills to effectively work with all levels of employees
  • Demonstrated ability to influence management and establish and maintain collaborative partnerships

Role Purpose Statement: Contribute to the implementation of Field Human Resources plans, objectives, and strategies to increase effectiveness of the Human Resources (HR) organization and ensure that the Customer Service Centers (CSCs) employment practices are compliant with company policy, applicable employment laws and contractual agreements.

Key Interfaces:

 Internal: CSC Human Resources Managers, CSC Hiring Managers,  and Headquarter HR  

 External: Providers of drug testing, background check, and applicant tracking services

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Recruits qualified candidates for Field union hourly positions and NUH positions through newspaper advertising, internet sites, professional organizations, referral programs, job fairs, schools and other recruiting sources.
  • Works with Field HR Managers to conduct job fairs as needed.
  • Posts all positions through the applicant tracking system – both internally and externally as appropriate
  • Screens candidates and schedules interviews in the selection of qualified candidates to fill vacant positions.
  • Coordinates the completion of any required testing, employment verifications, background checks and drug testing through approved service vendors.
  • Follows through on all resumes and applications received to ensure that proper correspondence is sent to applicants.
  • Completes and sends any required paperwork as required to stakeholders involved in the recruitment and hiring process
  • With support of HR Admin Schedules and prepares candidate for orientation, including completion of required forms and paperwork
  • Completes periodic follow-up with new employees and hiring managers; communicates issues as appropriate
  • Completes and distributes reports as required
