Director Sales & Products


  • Bachelor degree Intensive work experience with a strong focus on Sales and Business Development, preferably within either the airline or Commodity Consumer Products Industry
  • Strong management skills and demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Knowledge in strategic planning from conception to successful execution
  • Proficient knowledge of sales and negotiation methods and customer service orientation
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented personality, self-confident and intercultural understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Ability to work under stress and short timelines and willingness to travel

Your role consists mainly of the following job responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional strategy in alignment with Global SPIRIANT strategy and ensure its execution
  • Ensure the development of an annual business plan and budgeting in the area of responsibility in coordination with the relevant interfaces
  • Contribute to the development of and implement the overall Sales & Supply Chain Management strategy for the organization as well as initiatives
  • Oversee economic and operating performance to achieve the budget targets and ensure initiation of corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Develop and maintain business relationships in order to identify future needs and ideally become a trusted advisor to fully exploit the business potential of client groups
  • Explore and initiate new business opportunities possibly in conjunction with Regional Sales as well as evaluate and improve existing sales and account management strategies in order to reach / maintain profitable market share and achieve revenue and profit objectives
  • Organize customer events promoting value added services with regard to clients’ needs, e.g. product roadshows and presentations
  • Calculation and cost assessment of Sales projects including timely reporting of status, budget etc.
  • Prepare and conduct customer contract negotiations and secure closure of contracts
  • Ensure capturing of market trends, potential analysis for new customers etc. and update accounts strategies as needed
  • Ensuring clear communication and close co-operation with all relevant internal and external interfaces
  • Ensure compliance of applicable policies, guidelines & contracts as well as continuous process improvement for the region in compliance with Corporate Standards and Objectives
  • Reporting line directly to the Global Head of Sales & Products of SPIRIANT
