  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge/work experience
  • In addition, one to three years of Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, or Purchasing experience
  • Ability to effectively work with multiple customers.
  • Ability to effectively work in teams
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems in very fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating data
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience a plus/preferred

Role Purpose Statement: Performs a variety of analytical activities to monitor procurement spend channels, identify compliance and data quality issues, and drive financial value via escalation and resolution of identified issues.

Key Interfaces: (internal, external) Internal: Procurement Functional Teams, Finance/Controllers, Program Management, Pricing, Operations Teams  External: Vendors

Main Accountabilities

  • Lead Spend Analysis to:
    • Identify operational non-compliance to Procurement Programs, identify root cause, and support Category Managers in corrective actions (i.e. Operational Procurement Audits)
    • Support Project Savings Calculations and validation of Forecasts in LSG “Tracker” (savings tracking database). Ensure portfolio of projects have correct/current attributes maintained.
    • Proactively Identify Margin Loss due to variances in purchase price and customer costed value; escalate to appropriate shareholders
    • Identify changes in customer and/or operational demand of the LSG’s portfolio of goods and services to ensure product availability and minimize residual inventory risk
  • Owns the reporting management on Purchasing Channel activity (Purchasing Cards Expenditures, Text Line Activities) to ensure compliance with LSG Procurement Policies
  • Analyze, Identify, and lead the correction of UOM issues in Purchasing Systems
  • Special Projects as may be required
