SPIRIANT supports Azul with business model change

SPIRIANT_meal_service_and_onboard_equipmentOn December 1, 2014 Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (Azul) launched a daily service from their hub at São Paulo’s Viracopos/Campinas International Airport (VCP) to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is the airline’s first long-haul service to the US and we are proud to announce that SPIRIANT was selected to support the transformation of the airline from a low cost to a full service carrier.

As part of this launch, Azul has introduced a new business and economy class for which SPIRIANT provides forty different meal service and onboard equipment items. These range from trays, glasses, rotable and disposable equipment in economy to a full porcelain service in Business Class, along with an economy class amenity kit and sauna towels.
“Changing the entire business model of an airline has been a challenge and an interesting learning experience for both sides. Growing with the challenges we are very happy to have been part of Azul reaching a major milestone,” said Davide Bianchi, Sales Representative, SPIRIANT.
