Amenity Kits – a walking endorsement

Giving passengers a great experience onboard is of course the aim of‎ every airline. Giving passengers a bit of that experience to take home with them is even better. Amenity kits, suitable for second use, are perfect to achieve this, as we saw when the World Champions returned from Brazil.

“Winning the World Cup was really exciting, but then having the World Cup Champions return to Germany with trainer Joachim Loew waving around the Amenity Kit that we designed was a dream come true,” said Daniel Knies, Design Director, SPIRIANT GmbH.

SPIRIANT developed the special amenity kit for Lufthansa in collaboration with the DFB (German Football Association) to bring the Brazilian World Cup spirit into their cabins. The development also focused on designing something that passengers would want to reuse, give to a friend, or take home to their family, creating a longer-term connection between the traveler and the airline brand. As the picture proves, this aim was certainly achieved!  Woohoo!
