LSG Sky Chefs is excited to announce that just like in years past, its catering facilities in Brussels (BRU), Belgium, and Buenos Aires (EZE), Argentina, made the roster of winners at the prestigious QSAI (Quality and Safety Alliance In-flight Catering Program) awards ceremony. In fact, they were recognized as top performers in their respective categories:
Brussels was awarded GOLD in the “Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)” category while Buenos Aires also took GOLD in the “Americas” category.
“This achievement can’t be valued enough,” said Jochen Müller, COO LSG Group. “Brussels was awarded ‘gold’ last year, and obviously it continues to deliver the highest quality to all of its customers. The Buenos Aires team seems to be at these ceremonies every single year. In the past six, they have been recognized five times. An incredible and extraordinary performance by both!”
QSAI stands for the Quality and Safety Alliance In-flight Catering Program, which is the first audit program that allows the participating airlines (Aeroflot Russian Airways, Air Canada, Air France, KLM, All Nippon Airways, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic, among others) to monitor and improve in-flight food supplier compliance with internationally recognized standards. The program was developed and is managed by auditing company Medina, which presents a total of 10 awards every year. All winners are leaders in delivering safe, quality in-flight food to passengers and crews alike.
