March 19, 2015

Neu-Isenburg -– SPIRIANT has been selected by Qantas as a supplier for their new dining experience for Economy customers. The concept, designed by Qantas, was based on ongoing customer feedback for larger meal sizes, faster service and greater choice.
“Our new inflight dining experience will set a new standard for the five million Economy customers travelling across Qantas’ international network each year. We were pleased to partner with SPIRIANT for their design expertise to deliver a new range of meal items that make up such a key part of our service” said Qantas Head of Customer Experience and Creative Development, Kylie Morris.
The new concept has earned Qantas a place among the finalists of the Onboard Hospitality Award in the category of Innovation.
“For us, we truly enjoyed the cooperation between Qantas and SPIRIANT”, said Angie Fung, Director SPIRIANT Asia/Pacific. “ What we really found innovative was that Qantas wanted to highlight the service of their main meal with their custom designed under plate which replaces the traditional tray set-up and underlines the new Qantas meal concept”, said Angie.
SPIRIANT has provided Qantas with products including cutlery packs, casseroles, under plates, plastic and foil lids and now also supplies luxury duvets in Business Class.
