Lufthansa and SPIRIANT Win Prestigious TravelPlus Award

Neu-Isenburg, Germany – SPIRIANT, a leading airline-equipment provider, is proud to announce an exciting win for the design of a  First Class Lufthansa amenity kit in the TravelPlus Awards. The kit, created by the iconic studio Jacob Jensen Design, picked up the prestigious ‘Best – First Class Male Amenity Kit’ award after impressing the industry last year with its winning combination of Scandinavian design and German functionality. With SPIRIANT’s help as Lufthansa’s in-flight innovator, two special amenity kits for the airline’s inbound and outbound flights were produced.

The design reflects the clean and minimalistic attributes that Jacob Jensen is famous for. The grey hues of the two-tone sphere are a symbol of Night and Day, which in this case represent the nature of traversing time zones. The kits perfectly embody Lufthansa’s values of simple design, high-quality materials and Northern European sensibilities that set the airline apart. These are values shared by Jacob Jensen Design. Everything you could need for a long-haul flight is in the kit: from refreshing La Prairie skin-care products to a smart coffee-table book about Jacob Jensen Design.
