LSG Sky Chefs Wins Spirit Airlines Buy-on-Board Program

Irving, U.S. / Neu-Isenburg, Germany – LSG Sky Chefs, the world’s largest provider of in-flight services, has won the completely outsourced Buy-on-Board program from Spirit Airlines for a period of five years across the airlines’ entire network.

Spirit Airlines is an Ultra-Low-Cost Carrier, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S. It currently operates 65 airbus aircraft and over 250 daily flights to 56 destinations in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean.

Under the contract, LSG Sky Chefs group will take over the onboard retail and catering program of this fast growing airline, including the delivery of beverages, a-la-carte snacks, and shelf-stable snack boxes, as well as point of sale technology.
