LSG Sky Chefs Wins Lufthansa Caterer Awards

Neu-Isenburg, Germany –- LSG Sky Chefs, the world’s largest provider of in-flight services, is proud to announce that three of its international flight kitchens have been recognized with the 2013 Lufthansa Caterer Award. The award is presented in three regions (Asia/Pacific, Europe and North/South America), with one of them additionally taking the top award.

LSG Sky Chefs in Hong Kong (HKG), China, won both globally and in the Asia/Pacific category.

LSG Sky Chefs in Dallas (DFW), USA, won the award for the North/South America region.

LSG Sky Chefs’ Frankfurt international kitchen (FRA ZE) was the winner in the Europe category. This is where the authentic ethnic meals Lufthansa serves on its flights to Japan, Korea and India are produced.

Senior-level Lufthansa representatives personally handed out the awards to the management of these catering facilities. In their respective speeches, all three kitchens were praised for their “high degree of professionalism, passion for food and high quality.”
