Neu-Isenburg, Germany/Dublin, Ireland LSG Sky Chefs, the worlds largest provider of quality in-flight catering, today announced that it has entered into an exclusive strategic partnership with the Irish company Retail in Motion (RIM). RIM is the leading provider of buy-on-board and retail business solutions for the commercial airline industry. Besides focusing on product development, it also offers a robust IT platform for these increasingly important activities for the airlines and other business segments.
Within the framework of the agreement, the partners will offer end-to-end in-flight retail management solutions. Their portfolio includes IT solutions which deliver on all aspects of in-flight sales activities, including the entire sales lifecycle, from new products and supply chain to sales development and reporting. The entire offering is focused on maximizing in-flight retail revenues through a sector-specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution combined with a world-class IT infrastructure called Vector.
