LSG Sky Chefs North America Joins in National Food Day

Irving, Texas/ Neu-Isenburg, Germany – LSG Sky Chefs is excited to announce its participation in the inaugural Food Day event.  Through our partnership, we will facilitate an internal education campaign that drives awareness around nutrition and wellness to our approximately 8,600 employees in the North American region.  We hope our partnership will help further the Food Day committee’s efforts in furthering knowledge, understanding, and dialogue about these critical food topics.

Food Day is aimed at promoting healthy, sustainable, affordable, and just food systems in America, Food Day is a national grassroots mobilization backed by some of the most prominent voices for energizing the food movement. On October 24, 2011, people will gather at events big and small and from coast to coast in homes, schools, colleges, churches, city halls, farmers’ markets, supermarkets, and elsewhere to raise awareness about food issues and advocate for change. Think of it as an Earth Day for food!
