LSG Sky Chefs North America Joins in National Food Day

Irving, Texas, U.S./Neu-Isenburg, Germany – LSG Sky Chefs is excited to announce its participation in the second annual Food Day event.  Through our partnership, we will facilitate an internal education campaign that drives awareness around nutrition, sustainability and wellness to our approximately 8,600 employees in the North American region.  We hope our partnership will help further the Food Day committee’s efforts in furthering knowledge, understanding, and dialogue about these critical food topics.

Food Day is a nationwide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food. More than 2,300 events in all 50 states took place on the first Food Day in 2011, and organizers intend for Food Day 2012 to represent an even bigger grassroots campaign. Food Day seeks to inspire countless events, big and small, with individuals and organizations coming together on and around October 24 to learn, debate, and mobilize to improve our food system and the American diet.
