Subject: Re-Inspection Results - Denver Facility
Importance: High
Dear Ms. Lehman,
On September 17 through October 06, 2009, the Food and Drug Administration conducted an inspection of your airline catering facility at 27280 E. 75th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. That inspection resulted in a “Provisional” classification for the facility, and you were so notified in a Warning Letter dated December 10, 2009.
On December 24, 2009, we received your response to our December 10th letter. A re-inspection of the facility was conducted by this office on January 4 – 8, 2010. Based on your written response and the latest inspection, we have changed the classification of your catering facility to “Approved.” Notification of this change in classification has been sent to users of the facility.
We wish to emphasize the importance of your continued attention to the proper operation of this facility, specifically, to sanitation and pest removal issues, and that it is your responsibility to assure compliance with all applicable regulations.
A hard-copy of this letter will be sent via FED-EX to your office and the Denver LSG SkyChefs facility today. In addition, a letter will be sent to your Denver consignees via FED-EX to update them on the approved status of the Denver facility.
Please feel free to contact me should you have further questions.
Regards,
Nancy G. Schmidt
