Change in Regional COO Positions
Neu-Isenburg – LSG Sky Chefs announced today the following changes in its regional management: Alfred Rigler, currently Regional COO Latin America, will succeed Morten Andreasen, Regional COO Nordic/Eastern Europe, in this role. Morten Andreasen has decided to leave the company to take a position as Executive Board Member outside the catering industry.
Alfred Rigler joined LSG Sky Chefs in 1995 with Lufthansa’s decision to transfer its Inflight service department, where he had been employed since 1990. He led the department beginning in 1998 and was appointed Managing Director of the newly founded In-flight Management Solutions GmbH in 2004. In December 2005, he was appointed to his current position.
Morten Andreasen has been leading the Nordic/Eastern Europe Region since September 2001. Under his leadership, the region has successfully undergone restructuring and expanded into the growth markets of Eastern Europe.
This change will become effective after an appropriate transition period latest on April 1, 2008. The successor for the RCOO Latin America position will be announced as soon as possible.
