Anticipating growing demand in deep-frozen meals and to complement its European production facility in Alzey, Germany, LSG Sky Chefs recently decided to create an additional frozen-food facility in the U.S. opening later this year. The company also entered into a joint venture with China National Aviation Group Limited to build a new deep-frozen meals production hub in Qingdao, China. The new facility is scheduled to open in 2008.
