SAS group awards new catering contract to LSG Sky Chefs

Smooth continuation of established partnership

LSG Sky Chefs has been awarded a new catering contract from SAS Group, which includes an expansion of the catering partnership with SAS Braathens in Norway.

The current contract between SAS and LSG Sky Chefs, covering the catering out of the key SAS hubs within Scandinavia (Copenhagen/Denmark; Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö/Sweden and Oslo, Bergen/Norway), is due to expire on July 31, 2005. LSG Sky Chefs has been providing catering services to SAS Scandinavian Airlines since August 2000 from the above-mentioned loca-tions. The new contract also includes the takeover of Braathens' catering department by LSG Sky Chefs.

"Although the past years have been very challenging in regards to the changing business environment and necessary alterations to our catering concept, we have always been able to rely and trust LSG Sky Chefs' flexibility to adjust to the evolving market conditions."
