LSG Sky Chefs signs lean ageement with Finnair Catering

 

LSG Sky Chefs, the world's largest provider of quality in-flight catering, today announced that the company has entered a three-years Lean Agreement with Finnair Catering.

Under the agreement, Finnair Catering and LSG Sky Chefs will jointly implement Lean manufacturing and logistics processes in Finnair Catering's two units in Helsinki, and link Finnair Catering to LSG Sky Chefs' procurement system.

"This agreement is another excellent evidence that Lean principles, which we have implemented throughout LSG Sky Chefs the last two years, is a state of the art initiative and a major basis for our companies' success in the future´" says Morten Andreasen, Area Senior Vice President Nordic and Eastern Europe. He adds: "And we believe that a proper execution of the agreement is a first step to a more profound cooperation with Finnair in the future."
