LSG Sky Chefs has developed a range of meal box and tray concepts with pre-prepared meals and snacks that can be assembled in central production units away from airports. These are high quality, high value for money solutions that are a great alternative for economy class services and low-cost airlines, but can also be adjusted for premium classes. 

When developing meal concepts we focus on three main areas: airline brand identity, passenger expectations and budget.

Based on this we select well-known products from a broad portfolio of consumer brands that reflect an airline's image. These items can create new revenue streams for airlines, i.e. potential onboard sampling and promotional opportunities. Boxes can also be designed with specific themes to entertain the passengers and enhance the overall meal presentation.
